I favour the malediciton as a tackler as its got that extra mid slot for something extra and you can always fit two smartbombs to be a pod popper instead of having guns

mind you - you can get more DOT with three laser - but the tracking isnt that great on beams if need to fit those - so you could fit a heatsink instead of the cap relay if yr happy with yr cap recharge rate

yes I've had to swap to beams because with dual light pulses you get a 10km opt with radio So my setup goes as follows 2 Dual Beams II's 2 TE-2100 launchers 1 MWD II 1 WEB 1 SCRAM 3 Cap Relays

the tackler ones like malediction (which I use) have a nice warp speed now, like 13.5au/s so thats helps a bit, and the changes made a while ago to make them more durable/powerful also helped.

you could try and fit 6 megabeams/tachs and then either nos or cruise or siege watever you can fit, 4 cap rechargers, 2 large armour reps, 3 hardeners, and 3 PDU's (may need to a PG mod instead of one of them)

I prefer the maller with a 1600 plate and hardeners it has nearly as much armour an armageddon The damage is good and you can fit more on it making it more flexible

I haven't read all the posts, but the AMMO problem, why not create a seperate hold which cant used for anything but ammo to help the problem of non-laser users to be able to have the same flexibiliy as laser users.

You can do it in an inteceptor - easily. I've used my crusader a lot, chained the enforcer solo, as long as you don't get webbed and then cruised to death you can do it easily . Some people may complain about the damage but if you fit some nice ...

I use two modal pulse lasers, two standard named, 1 MWD, + the web/scrambler or watever floats your boat, a small rep for those life savings situations, two cap relays

I find the cap to be lacking a bit, even though I have maxed out cap skills and using named cap rechargers, a tech II med rep, medium lasers and maybe an 10ab can seriously strain yr cap, so its good idea to maybe fit a NOS somewhere in yr setup.
